Due to the current postholder relocating, an opportunity has arisen to serve as my head of office. The core role supports me in the management of my team of seven staff alongside financial management, including the lease and other contracts relating to the office in Bicester. This requires a minimum 0.6FTE commitment.
I expect the postholder to help me shape the strategy for the team, setting priorities and then ensuring that staff are allocated effectively to key areas of activity: casework, campaigns, communications, constituency events/ visits and parliamentary. We are still a developing team so there is scope for someone wishing to work up to 1 FTE to take on additional duties in these areas, drawing on their own previous experience.
