This is a 10 PA post for a Consultant Breast Surgeon to work in the Surgical Care Group at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals Trust. The post is based at King George Hospital (no on-call requirements), supporting breast surgery services.

The appointee will provide specialist care, participate in teaching, and contribute to departmental development.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing high-quality surgical/oncological management for breast cancer and benign breast diseases
* Managing 2WW Breast Clinics to meet cancer treatment targets
* Responsible for clinical care and departmental functioning
* Delivering responsive surgical services
* Providing inpatient cover
* Handling administrative duties related to patient care and departmental management
* Maintaining current knowledge of surgical practices
* Engaging in professional development and mandatory training
* Collaborating with colleagues as part of a team
The candidate must hold FRCS and have wide experience in elective and emergency general surgery within the NHS.
