Business Analyst Role Purpose: To act as a critical conduit between stakeholders, technical teams, and delivery leadership by translating complex user, data, and regulatory requirements into clear and actionable user stories. The Business Analyst will ensure that the platform aligns with NHS workflows and the data governance and compliance needs of the medical device industry. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Engagement and Discovery: Lead requirements-gathering workshops with NHS procurement teams, clinicians, Trust IT staff, manufacturers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies such as MHRA. Ability to work closely with multi-disciplinary delivery teams, including user researchers, service designers, data engineers, and developers. Desirable: Prior experience with integration-heavy platforms involving system-to-system interfaces (e.g., NHS Supply Chain Catalogue, GHX, manufacturer PIM systems). Knowledge of interoperability standards (e.g., HL7 FHIR, RESTful APIs for healthcare data). Experience mapping and validating data lineage and transformation requirements across multiple sources and stakeholders. Experience contributing to solutions delivered on Azure and familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
