Construction Project Manager - Capital Projects
Location: Wolverhampton (multi-site working may be required)
Rate: Competitive
12 Month Contract with opportunity of extension/permanent role
The Role
You will take ownership of a portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects, managing everything from feasibility and design through to delivery and handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver multiple construction projects within a capital programme
* Manage consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
* Oversee design development, procurement, and contract delivery
* Control budgets, timelines, and project performance
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and regulatory requirements
* Provide reporting and senior stakeholder communication
* Support business cases and long-term planning
About You
* Experience managing complex construction projects
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Commercial awareness and contract knowledge (NEC & JCT)
* Confident communicator
* Relevant degree or equivalent experienceHold a professional membership (MRICS, MCIOB etc)
* Knowledge and experience of working within the healthcare sector is preferred
