Salary: Grade 7 – SCP 18 – SCP 23 £31,537 – £34,434 (FTE) £27,211 – £30,382 (actual salary)
Contract type: Permanent, full‑time, term‑time plus one week
Reporting to: Achievement Lead

About the Role
The Education Support Worker is responsible for all elements of pastoral care and will support Excellence in Learning across the school. The post holder is expected to be highly organised, personable and dedicated to supporting the futures of all young people.
Responsibilities
* Supporting excellent attitudes to learning across the school
* Effectively engaging with families in our school community
* Supporting student attendance at school
* Assisting with safeguarding our students
* Building positive relationships with students, colleagues and families
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven success in improving student outcomes within a school
* Experience of working with children
* Ability to build effective working relationships with students and adults
* Energetic, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Flexible approach and positive attitude towards work
* Ability to prioritise effectively under pressure
* Strong communication skills enabling the building of positive relationships with students, colleagues and families
* Enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references
