We have an opportunity for an Office Assistant to join our team in Hindley Green, Wigan on a full time, permanent basis. You should have strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
As our Office Assistant your role will be to ensure professional and welcoming front-of-house reception services with professional administrative support to the HR department and wider business, ensuring the smooth running of operations.

As our Office Assistant your Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities will include;
Front of House Duties
* Greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
* Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages, and manage the reception inbox.
* Manage incoming mail and deliveries.
* Assist with booking meeting rooms and coordinating visitor appointments.
* Assist with arranging lunches and refreshments for external meetings as required.
* Prepare order and organise distribution of weekly food deliveries. Monitoring usage to ensure limited wastage.
HR Administration
* Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
* Complete agency timesheets on a weekly basis and respond to agency queries as required.
* Support recruitment processes as required including scheduling interviews, preparing documentation, and liaising with candidates.
* Assist with onboarding processes including uniform orders and ID card preparation etc.
* Prepare HR-related letters as required.
* Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
* Assist in the organisation of training sessions and maintaining training records.
Our ideal Office Assistant will have the following skills / experience;
* Previous experience in an general administrative role with knowledge of front of house duties.
* Experience with HR related admin duties preferred.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
* Highly organised, discreet, approachable, and proactive.
* Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask.
