Responsibilities include:
Supporting children with SEN in mainstream and specialist school settings
Assisting with personalised learning plans and behavioural support
Using your communication and teamwork skills to foster positive relationships
Encouraging physical activity and wellbeing initiatives tailored to individual needs
Helping create inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environments
Collaborating closely with teaching staff and SEN coordinators
Minimum requirements:
Recent graduate in Sports Science, Physical Education, Coaching, or related degree
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A passion for working with children and young people, especially those with SEN
Ability to stay calm, patient, and adaptable in challenging situations
Willingness to learn and develop skills in SEN support and education
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) and availability for term-time work
Preferred qualities:
Experience in motivating individuals and teams
Understanding of physical and mental wellbeing importance
Positive mindset and leadership skills
Adaptability and resilience
