About us:
At Access People we are committed to bringing passion and customer focus to everything we do. Our team sits within the Access People Division, responsible for delivering new customers onto our PXD platform. We are a team of 24 consultants, who work hard, enjoy working together and truly believe in what we are doing to help customers adopt, use and benefit from our software solutions.
To be successful in this role, you need to have a Payroll background where the key concepts of Payroll are clearly understood. Ideally you will also have a consultancy and/or implementation background.
About you:
• You have a strong background in payroll and understand key payroll concepts and legislation (UK essential plus Irish desirable)
• You're passionate about software delivery and eager to grow your consultancy skills
• You enjoy working both independently and as part of a collaborative project team
• You're confident communicating with clients and managing expectations effectively
• You're proactive, organised, and committed to continuous learning and improvement
Day-to-day, you will:
• Deliver payroll software implementations using Access methodology, both remotely and on-site
• Run user training sessions, create delivery content, and lead client workshops
• Manage your project tasks to meet deadlines and budgets, keeping records accurate and up to date
• Provide best practice advice and recommend process improvements based on payroll standards
• Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to enhance delivery and share client feedback
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Experience in SaaS payroll consultancy, implementation, or related business processes
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with desirable knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, or report writing
• Ability to work autonomously and present confidently to stakeholders at all levels
• Familiarity with E2E system testing, UAT, and continuous improvement initiatives
