Join us as a Claims Handler within our Technical & Large Loss (T&LL) team, where you’ll shape the future of claims management, tackle complex challenges head-on, and make a significant impact on our customers’ claims journey.

What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Team Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the Technical & Large Loss claims team. You will:
* Manage large and complex losses to achieve business objectives
* Support and contribute to claims technical strategy
* Hold a portfolio of claims with insured perils (Subsidence, Fire, Storm, Flood, Escape of Water)
* Deliver initiative claims savings and ensure settlement cost performance
* Manage large loss emergence, maintain reserve accuracy, and run-off to agreed targets for your portfolio and the department
* Meet or exceed service level agreements and targets across all classes, using operational performance data for efficiency
* Engage with and manage suppliers, ensuring adherence to policy and contractual terms
* Support the Large Loss Leader as the principal Subject Matter Expert for large and complex Property & Liability claims
What We’re Looking For
* Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service by managing customer expectations throughout the claims journey
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to record and communicate information using applicable systems
* Focus on growing technical expertise relevant to T&LL claims and staying informed about industry trends
* Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and across wider claims areas to achieve goals
