An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our Speech and Language Therapy team serving the 3 prisons in the Forth Valley Health Board area. These comprise HMYOI Polmont, HMP&YOI Stirling and HMP Glenochil.
We are seeking applications from therapists with experience of working with adolescents and/or adults with developmental or acquired communication support needs. Experience of work with individuals who are neurodiverse, individuals with relational or behaviour support needs and/or individuals with mental health conditions would be an advantage. In addition, candidates will need to be able to demonstrate that they possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a desire to learn. The successful applicant will be working closely with a range of professionals and therefore it is essential that they can work positively as part of a team.
Essential: HCPC registration.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
