We’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager - LED Wall to join our Professional Display Solutions (PDS) business, to talk ownership for our premium LED Wall solutions.
Sony are investing in exciting creator technologies, and this position offers a high degree of visibility, where you will be at the forefront of the expansion of the LED product portfolio. You’ll build partnerships with teams in Tokyo HQ, Sales, Biz Dev, Planning, Trade & Segment and Marcoms, to define the regional LED marketing & sales strategy to outperform budget sales & profit and prepare for future category growth.
You will join a very supportive and tight team, with a manager who likes transparency, openness, honesty, and promoting ownership. This position will require monthly travel, and occasional extended trips for exhibitions, and potential for occasional visits to Tokyo too.
You will:
Understand the market: Set Product Strategies, sharpen the message and proposition, and analyse trends. Exchange information on technical trends and customer behaviour with HQ, and undertake trips to enhance the market understanding.
Educate: Lead training & presentations to internal teams, channel partners, and consultants. Act on Customer Voice, build relationships with key influencer/journalists/Consultants, track partnership development, and build on “Sustainability” related messages.
Product launch & life cycle management: Lead discussions to ensure all comms meet quality standards, optimise use of demonstrations, track after-sales service performance, and set product focus for digital marketing strategy.
Product roadmap development: Analyse win / loss and define EU requirements for future roadmap, partner with BDM and Pre-Sales to develop the solution approach with Sony entities or relevant 3rd parties.
Reporting: undertake Product Marketing reporting for VoC, market feedback, vertical penetration, events, digital promotions, and provide relevant supportive data to support sales teams.
You will bring:
* Product Marketing experience in ProAV industry
* Experience working with European or Global markets
* Excellent written and verbal comms skills
* Willingness to travel when required (with good notice)
