Overview
Ricoh are currently recruiting for a Technology Delivery Manager who will be responsible for delivering products within agreed timescales, to cost and quality standards. Depending on the product, you may be responsible for 2-3 smaller delivery teams, or alternatively a single delivery team to deliver a more complex/technical product. You will work in close partnership with design managers, platform owners, integration leads, architect and operations team to deliver value against the product vision. You will work with senior stakeholders, effectively translating technical concepts and influencing where necessary.
The successful candidate will be expected to use your experience and expertise to work with flexibility, selecting and applying appropriate delivery techniques based on the requirements of the delivery. You will be required to flex the delivery approach to get the best out of your teams, providing them with support and guidance to enable successful delivery. You may be required to facilitate governance meetings and mechanisms and/or select the right people to join these discussions.
In addition to this, you will be expected to mentor, coach or line manage members of the delivery community, sharing your experience and knowledge.
The role will be key in the drive to modernise the Ricoh applications landscape by providing support in application upgrades, migrations and replacements for the business-critical applications that run the Ricoh business.

You will be doing
* Day-to-day vendor management for outsourced services and ensuring that the suppliers delivery to specification that is designed by the consultant. Additionally, you will support software licensing and security teams to monitor and manage the licensing of enterprise applications and security of those applications.
Lead and coordinate the planning, execution, and transition of technical releases across a complex applications estate. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality solutions in collaboration with DevOps, Design, and Operations teams, while ensuring system integrator performance, development capacity management, and smooth transition to support.
* Systems Integrator Oversight & Code Quality Assurance: Hold the systems integrator accountable for delivery quality, including code, technical documentation, and defect metrics. Delegate code quality reviews, ensuring standards, maintainability, and integration compliance. Track and report defect leakage, rework rates, and SIT/UAT pass rates as KPIs.
* Development Team Capacity Management: Establish and maintain a capacity tracking model: forecasted vs. actual vs. outstanding effort. Monitor developer assignment, ensure optimal resource utilization, and identify constraints or overloads. Partner with resource managers to proactively address capacity shortfalls and skill mismatches.
* Stakeholder Alignment & Delivery Cadence: Define and enforce a consistent delivery cadence with Design, QA, and Operations stakeholders. Host weekly or sprint-aligned sync meetings to drive alignment, unblock issues, and validate handoffs. Track delivery progress using burn-down charts, milestone completion rates, and phase gate checklists.
* Vendor & Supplier management: Ensure full Knowledge Transfer to clients/support team including key user training. Management of change requests through the development and testing lifecycle confirming to project management standards and scope. Liaising with Oracle, Microsoft, SAP or any other product vendor to ensure effective management of client SRs. Ensure that clients are supported and kept up to date with latest Cloud quarterly releases.
* Stakeholder Management: Manage on-time project delivery and business expectations and ensure internal customer satisfaction. Assist with risk management and change management on projects. Advising clients on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems. Effectively communicating and driving project deliverables. Completing tasks efficiently and in a timely manner. Providing status and issue reports to the project manager/client on a regular basis
* Identify continuous improvement opportunities: with systems and processes, document and obtain senior management approval for the changes (VP/ Divisional Head levels), and co-ordinate with our partner teams to deliver them.
* Communicate with senior management (e.g. Operating Company, CIO, Heads of) to understand system and process requirements and challenges, and then work together with our technical implementation partner, to identify the optimal system and process solution to these business requirements.
You will ideally have
* Ideally candidates will be educated to degree level standard (or equivalent) preferred, or relevant business experience
* Successful candidates will have a proven background of experience in technical consulting including hands-on experience in system integrations, applications, process automation, and languages.
* Ideally you will have experience with integration platforms or middleware tools, plus familiarity with automation tools and process optimisation strategies is a plus.
* Preferably candidates will have a good understanding of database management and knowledge of security protocols and data protection measures for enterprise applications.
* Successful candidates will have experience with Agile methodologies or project management frameworks. Alongside familiarity with cloud-based process automation, CRM, ERP systems and HR technologies.
* Ideally you will be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and possess exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills.
* You will ideally demonstrable ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate activities and be capable of taking initiative, building, and growing relationships across Ricoh IT.
* Successful candidates will provide guidance and support to IT colleagues on best practices. Alongside proficiency to communicate complex messages clearly and concisely to all audiences, both written and verbal.
* Develop and monitor metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports to management and other stakeholders. Plus be capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
* Ideally candidates will have familiarity with the ITIL framework of IT practices and knowledge of good practice and principles in a cloud management function.
* You will ideally be able to support the sharing of methods and knowledge across Ricoh business.
* Successful candidates will have strong English written and oral communication skills, be a proactive self-starter with strong communication abilities and exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Additionally you will ideally demonstrate Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving Skills.
