Senior Electrical Design Engineer
A leading specialist engineering company based in Grantham, providing solutions to the oil, gas, water and construction industries have an immediate requirement for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join them.
As Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will have experience in the electrical testing of LV control panels.

Salary: Circa £42,000 excellent benefits
As Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will be working within a team producing Control Panels including:
* To produce general arrangement drawings and schematic drawings for transformer rectifiers and switch-mode modules.
* Produce bill of materials
* Produce fabrication drawings using autoCAD and solidworks (they must at least 3 year experience with both)
* Liaise with clients and their representatives during witness FAT.
* Prepare test certificates and associated documentation.
* Working to other technical drawings (GA’s, fabrication etc.)
* Working to electrical schematic drawings
* Working to deadlines
* Testing remote monitoring systems
* Produce label drawings using autoCAD
* To assist in our test bay during busy periods of manufacturing
The skills required are:
* Background of electrical testing using single phase and 3 phase voltages (*must* have at least 3 years experience)
* Strong MS Office Skills (Required)
* AutoCAD and solidworks (*must* have at least 3 years)
* Control panel design (*must* have at least 3 years)
* Knowledge of PCB design
* Understanding of communication protocol (RS485/RJ45/serial/etc)
* Formal electrical qualification
