Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Production Assistants to join our artisanal dessert team. This hands-on role involves supporting the production and decoration of handmade desserts, ensuring each product meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing dessert components such as lining, making batters, fillings, and toppings
* Decorate individual desserts, cheesecakes, Gateaux to specification a precision.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstation standards
* Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
* Assist in measuring and weighing ingredients with care and consistency
* Support inventory management by tracking ingredients and supplies
* Operate basic kitchen equipment (mixers, ovens, chillers) safely and efficiently
* Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production targets
What we need from you
* Passion for baking and dessert decoration
* Strong attention to detail and artistic flair
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Comfortable with manual tasks and standing for extended periods
* Team player with a good work ethic to and self-motivated.
* Previous experience in food production or pastry decoration is an advantage; however training will be provided.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Contract Details
This is a seasonal temporary role, ideal for those looking to earn extra income or gain experience in a food production setting.
Hourly Rate: National Living wage (£12.21 per hour).
Contract Dates: Start September – end of assignment 19th December 2025, unless a permanent role is offered.
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2.30pm (must be able to work these hours to meet the needs of the role).
