This is a critical enterprise role for a seasoned people focused PMO leader who thrives in complexity, brings clarity to prioritisation, and ensures large-scale learning programs are delivered with discipline, transparency, and measurable value. You will own the global Learning PMO, setting standards, governing delivery, and enabling consistent execution across regions.
The role is based in Windsor (3 days per week), with the remainder hybrid, offering close connection to senior stakeholders while operating at global scale.
Your Impact
Lead the Global Learning PMO
Lead and evolve the Learning PMO operating model, governance, and ways of working.
Define and embed global delivery standards, methodologies, templates, and best practices.
Align the learning delivery portfolio to enterprise priorities and delivery capacity.
Own PMO tooling (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira) and data quality across schedule, cost, risk, and benefits.
Provide executive-ready insights for the Head of Global Learning and enterprise governance forums.
Translate approved innovation pilots and strategic initiatives into PMO-managed programs ready to scale.
Enterprise Prioritisation & Governance
Run global intake, prioritisation, and sequencing of learning programs and projects.
Operate stage-gate governance, change control, and portfolio dashboards.
Lead portfolio reviews and recommend start, stop, or continue decisions.
Standardise planning baselines, dependency management, and benefits tracking.
Track benefits realisation post-launch and optimise the portfolio based on value.
Enable High-Performing Delivery Teams
Lead, coach, and develop a global PMO team delivering complex, multi-region initiatives.
Embed fit-for-purpose delivery approaches, balancing rigor and agility.
Drive continuous improvement and capability uplift across the PMO.
Partner, Influence, and Communicate
Coordinate delivery with Shared Services, Technology/IT, PMO, and Learning leaders to protect learner experience and platform stability.
Lead executive reporting and stakeholder forums to ensure transparency and confidence in delivery.
What We're Looking For
10–15+ years leading complex programme portfolios in global, matrixed environments.
PMO experience across people-led initiatives is preferred, with Learning and Development experience considered a strong advantage.
Proven experience establishing or leading a PMO, including governance, tooling, and benefits realisation.
Experience delivering cross-region, multi-stakeholder transformation programs; learning or people-led initiatives advantageous.
Strong understanding of learning ecosystems (LMS/LXP, content operations, integrations).
PMP certification required.
Strong grounding in portfolio, program, and project management methodologies (P3O, MSP, MoP, SAFe/Agile, PMI, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with Smartsheet, MS Project/Project Online, Jira/Confluence, and Power BI.
