The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer to join our Professional Services team, delivering high-impact networking and security projects for a wide range of mid-market and enterprise clients across finance, retail, manufacturing, and technology.
You'll be hands-on across the full project lifecycle - from solution design and customer workshops, through deployment, to handover into operational support. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, sharpen your technical expertise, and play a key role in delivering secure, saleable, and innovative solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
Designing secure network solutions - running customer workshops, producing HLD/LLD documentation, and building POCs to validate solutions.
Implementing solutions - preparing changes, building configuration templates, creating test scripts and deployment runbooks, and configuring routers, switches, and firewalls.
Leading projects - acting as lead engineer on both large (multi-month) and smaller projects, balancing competing priorities while ensuring successful delivery.
Knowledge sharing - developing tools, guides, and processes to strengthen the team's capability and mentoring junior engineers.
Staying ahead of the curve - becoming a subject matter expert across key networking and security technologies while continuing your own professional development.
What We're Looking For
Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to explain technical detail clearly and produce quality documentation.
Organised, detail-driven, and able to balance multiple deadlines in a structured way (ITIL background helpful).
Passionate about technology, with a drive to learn and develop.
Hands-on technical expertise including: Networking: Strong 3rd Line equivalent - Cisco routing/switching, WAN, campus, and data centre (ACI, Nexus 5K/7K/9K, VXLAN, EVPN).
