Trainee Service Engineer Excellent opportunity for a Junior Engineer who is looking to develop within a Field Service Engineer position. When not on site, and working in the office, duties focus on reports, preparing jobs, liaising with customers by telephone / email, and getting parts ready for site. Occasionally a bit of light assembly work too. Whilst multiskilled, you will be working with electrical parts, including drives, PLC's and control panels. Any electrical knowledge or qualifications would be ideal. This Trainee Service Engineer job will suit: A recently qualified Apprentice or Fitter, who is preferably multiskilled or slightly electrically biased, who wants to develop a career as a Service Engineer. Be within a commutable range of Newcastle-under-Lyme. Whilst this is mostly Service based, we do need someone who can commute to the office between projects.
