This is a remote position.
Location Remote: UK, Spain, France, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Denmark
This individual will be responsible for supporting the global leadership team on driving the company's growth agenda on buy-and-built acquisitions.
Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and working closely with the firm’s leadership team, the Associate M&A will play a pivotal role in evaluating and executing strategic mergers, acquisitions and other strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-end support on execution of M&A transactions (pre and post closing), including outbound sourcing.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to facilitate smooth transaction execution.
* Manage relationships with external advisors and investors.
* Support due diligence efforts.
* Assist in the preparation of presentation materials, including pitch decks, investment memoranda, and board presentations.
* Participate in deal negotiations.
* Support post-acquisition integration efforts, including developing integration plans and tracking integration milestones.
* Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as required to support the broader strategic initiatives.
* Evaluate strategic fit, synergies, and potential value creation opportunities for each deal.
* Monitor and track post-acquisition performance to assess the success of integration efforts.
* Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to gain alignment and support for M&A initiatives.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field;
* 3+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or management consulting.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Self-motivated and proactive with a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
