About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Engineering to lead and deliver a portfolio of complex technical projects within a fast-paced, innovative aerospace environment.
This permanent, Bedfordshire-based role offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-impact engineering initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring successful delivery across quality, time, and budget objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project delivery across a range of engineering programs
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary technical teams to achieve strategic project goals
Apply best-practice project management methodologies to ensure effective planning and execution
Develop project documentation including business cases, justifications, risk assessments, and progress reports
Create work breakdown structures, resourcing plans, and schedules in collaboration with technical managers
Monitor project progress, address issues, and manage scope changes proactively
Support proposal and bid development, including estimating and risk management Key Requirements
Degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering or a related technical discipline
Proven experience leading technical or R&D projects in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and techniques
Comfortable working in a design and manufacturing setting
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
