Overview
Business and Executive Support Team provides a centrally led business support administrative function aligned to meet the requirements of Staffordshire County Council, fulfilling the needs of the organisation as it evolves. This exciting position sits within the Business and Executive Support Service. The staffing team currently supports a multitude of service areas across the organisation.
Main Responsibilities
* Providing support and assistance to managers across a range of Health Care & Corporate Training Services
* Servicing and supporting a range of meetings for internal and multi-agency stakeholders
* Accurately input and maintain internal systems including client based information system, training software, plus daily use of MS Office 365 packages
* Completing a range of administrative and customer care tasks ensuring compliance with business processes and Service Level Agreements
* Service Inbox maintenance, dealing with queries, signposting and taking appropriate action
* Liaising with internal and external customers and developing good working relationships and engagement
The Ideal Candidate
The role requires flexibility to support the wider Business and Executive Support Service when required to meet priority demands and will enable you to develop your skills and experience across a variety of work opportunities within the service. We are looking for you to have:
* Administrative skills and experience to support the provision of a timely and high-quality Business Support service for Staffordshire County Council
* Ability to take accurate and concise minutes when required for multi-agency meetings
* Excellent communication skills to engage with internal and external customers and administration teams to share best practice using digital solutions where appropriate to improve processes
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment, and to manage changes at short notice
* Good IT skills with knowledge of MS 365 software
* Experience complying with relevant Information, Privacy and Data Security policies
