We are seeking a commercially focused Laboratory Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of UKAS-accredited environmental testing laboratories, with a strong emphasis on laboratories providing testing services for third-party clients.
This is a consultative sales role suited to someone confident engaging with scientists, laboratory managers, technicians, quality teams, and procurement professionals. The successful candidate will be comfortable discussing technical applications and offering credible solutions across laboratory equipment and consumables.
The role is field-based with remote working, with monthly team meetings in Staffordshire.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop a portfolio of UKAS-accredited environmental laboratory account

Build and maintain strong relationships with scientific, technical, quality, and purchasing stakeholders
*
Identify and develop growth opportunities across consumables, equipment, and applications
*
Provide technical and application-level product support to customers
*
Support laboratories operating within regulated and accredited environments
*
Achieve agreed sales targets and maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts
*
Attend monthly team meetings in Staffordshire
What We’re Looking For

Experience in laboratory sales, account management, or a technical laboratory role

Ability to communicate confidently with scientists and laboratory decision-makers
*
Commercially minded with a consultative, solution-focused approach

Well organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely

Willing and able to commute to Staffordshire once per month
*
Ideally you will have experience working in, or selling into, environmental or analytical laboratories, ideally within UKAS-accredited settings.
Relevant technical experience may include some or all of the following:

BOD and COD analysis
*
pH and solids analysis
*
Metals analysis
*
Air sampling
*
Wet chemistry techniques
*
Sample collection and preparation
*
Chromatography such as GC, HPLC, or similar
