As a Cleaner at our school, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our students have a tidy and hygienic space to thrive.
Position: Cleaner (SEN School)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain the cleanliness of classrooms, offices, common areas, and other facilities within the school premises.
2. Regularly clean and disinfect surfaces, furniture, and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
3. Empty bins and dispose of waste following proper procedures.
4. Clean and sanitise restroom facilities to maintain high standards of hygiene.
5. Ensure that corridors and walkways are clear and safe for students and staff.
6. Assist in maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and promptly report when supplies need replenishing.
7. Collaborate with the school staff to address any specific cleaning needs or emergencies.
8. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
9. Show respect and understanding towards students with SEN and maintain a positive attitude within the school community.
Requirements:
1. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services.
2. Reliability and the ability to work independently, managing cleaning tasks efficiently.
3. A positive and friendly demeanour, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere at the school.
4. Understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations.
5. A strong sense of responsibility for maintaining a clean and safe environment for all.
