One of our partner mainstream schools in Merthyr is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support and be part of their warm, inclusive team.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, and other additional learning needs (ALN)
* Work closely with teachers to adapt lessons and create an inclusive learning environment
* Promote positive behaviour strategies and emotional well-being in the classroom
* Help pupils access the curriculum and develop both academically and socially
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
* Is patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships
* Brings relevant experience from education, care, youth work, or similar fields (experience is desirable but not essential)
Requirements
If successful, Teaching Personnel will guide you through obtaining:
* EWC Registration
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* References covering the last two years of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
