Position Details
Hours: Offered on an as and when required basis.
Pay: £16.62 per hour (Including Distant Islands Allowance). A shift allowance will be paid for unsocial hours worked where appropriate.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our small office team based in Kirkwall, Orkney.
Role Overview
As an Assistant Social Care Co-ordinator (ASCC), you will play a vital role in providing Care at Home services across Orkney Mainland and the Isles. You will support our geographically based teams to ensure high-quality care delivery, working with service users, families, and partner agencies to develop person-centered support plans aligned with reablement principles.

Qualifications and Requirements
You should hold an SVQ 3 in Social Services and Health Care or HNC in Social Care, or relevant practice qualifications for registration with the SSSC as a supervisor in a Care at Home Service. Additionally, a supervisory or management qualification at SCQF level 7 or above is required or should be achieved within 5 years of appointment. The role requires membership of the PVG scheme and the ability to travel efficiently within Orkney.
