Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drainage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing effective drainage systems that meet regulatory standards and ensure environmental sustainability. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, along with proficiency in various design software. The Drainage Engineer will collaborate with project managers, clients, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Duties
* Design and develop drainage systems using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation software.
* Conduct land surveying to assess site conditions and inform design decisions.
* Prepare detailed schematics and system designs for drainage projects.
* Collaborate with project management teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
* Utilise Mathcad for calculations related to drainage design and hydraulic analysis.
* Implement ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis of drainage systems.
* Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulations.
* Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing any issues that arise.
* Maintain accurate documentation of all project phases, including design changes and site assessments.
Skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, and ArcGIS.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent mathematical skills for performing complex calculations related to drainage design.
* Knowledge of construction practices and regulations relevant to drainage engineering.
* Ability to create detailed schematics and system designs that meet client needs.
* Strong analytical skills for assessing site conditions and developing effective solutions.
* Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
