About the role
Customer Delivery Driver – meet customers at home, drive, and deliver service with a smile. Hands‑on, physical work with varied shifts, independent working with supportive base.
Pay: £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in store locations within the M25. Minimum 16 hours per week (roles from 12 hours also available).
Availability: Sun, Thu, Fri, Sat – 17:00 to 23:00.
Responsibilities
- Keep the van, trays, and work area clean, tidy, and organised.
- Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure roadworthiness.
- Communicate with customers about order changes, substitutions, or short‑dated items in a friendly way; offer refunds as appropriate.
- Handle products with care, treating every order as if it were your own.
- Deliver within the customer’s time slot, providing warm, natural service at the doorstep.
Qualifications
- Build strong relationships with colleagues to create great team spirit.
- Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
- Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change on the road.
- Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
