Family Solicitor – Barnsley
Barnsley | Hybrid working available
£35,000 – £55,000+ (DOE)
A well-regarded South Yorkshire firm is looking for an experienced Family Solicitor to join its Barnsley office. This is a great opportunity to take on a varied caseload within a supportive, close-knit team that values empathy, professionalism and long-term relationships.
You'll step into an established department with strong local ties and a consistent flow of new instructions – with the added benefit of hybrid working once you're settled in.
The Role:

* Managing a caseload of family law matters, including:
\t
\t\t
o Divorce and financial remedy
\t\t
o Private and public children matters
\t\t
o Domestic abuse and injunctions
\t\t
o Cohabitation and separation agreements
\t
\t
\t
* Preparing court documents, conducting advocacy where appropriate and liaising with clients throughout
\t
* Legal Aid experience preferred but not essential
About You:
\t
* You may be a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Family Fee Earner
\t
* Confident handling a mixed caseload independently
\t
* Approachable and sensitive to clients' needs during challenging times
\t
* Comfortable working in a high street or community-focused firm
