Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various Plumbing and heating systems, ensuring efficient installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair plumbing g and heating systems in residential and commercial properties.
* Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues with heating equipment.
* Utilise welding techniques for system installations and repairs as necessary.
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.
* Collaborate with plumbing teams to ensure integrated system functionality.
* Perform assembly tasks related to heating units and components.
* Execute carpentry work as required for installations or modifications.
* Handle heavy lifting of equipment and materials during installation processes.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all tasks.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role within the HVAC industry.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
* Experience in plumbing is advantageous but not essential.
* A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation of equipment to job sites.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
