Position Summary
Stannah, a global leader in the lift industry, is recruiting a qualified Stairlift Engineer to serve the Basingstoke and M3 corridor route. The role involves servicing, maintenance, and repair of stairlifts, micro‑lifts and goods‑lifting equipment.
Working Hours
8:00 – 4:45 Monday to Thursday; 8:00 – 3:45 Friday.
Salary and Incentives
Up to £54,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience. Competitive base salary plus pay for standby allowance, call‑out, and a profit‑share bonus scheme.
Responsibilities
* Conduct maintenance, repair, and call‑out visits on various types of stairlifts and home lifts.
* Ensure high‑quality service and safety standards.
* Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards.
* Participate in the on‑call rota, receiving additional standby allowance and call‑out payment.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent preferred; Stannah will train the right candidate to NVQ Level 2.
* Proven experience as a Stairlift Engineer or Domestic Engineer within the lift industry.
* Valid UK driving licence.
* Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
