We are partnering with a leading, next-generation wealth management group to appoint a Group Deputy Company Secretary. This is a broad, high-impact role supporting a complex, multi-entity business, including FCA-regulated firms, at an exciting stage of growth.
Reporting to the Group General Counsel, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate governance and company secretarial support across the Group. Responsibilities include managing statutory compliance (Companies House, registers, filings), supporting Board and Committee processes, and ensuring adherence to UK governance standards and regulatory requirements.
You will also support governance within FCA-regulated entities, assist with SMCR-related processes, contribute to strategic projects (including restructurings and policy development), and act as Secretary to the Group’s charitable foundation.
About you:
* Proven company secretarial or governance experience
* Strong knowledge of the Companies Act 2006 and UK governance frameworks
* Experience in a regulated (ideally FCA) environment
* Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
* CGI/ICSA qualification (or working towards) desirable
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented governance professional seeking a diverse, hands-on role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders. There is significant flexibility in working patterns and this could suit someone part time, or hybrid.
