What the Job Involves This role involves identifying and assessing the needs of children and families to promote safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes. You will screen and triage contacts received via the Front Door, conduct Family Help assessments, and deliver evidence-based interventions to strengthen family resilience and prevent escalation to statutory social care. You'll manage Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases, collaborating with families and multi-agency partners to safeguard children. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate case records, participating in family meetings and multi-agency conferences, and contributing to service development initiatives. You'll work collaboratively with partners to coordinate effective support, share information lawfully, and engage in continuous professional development.
