Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Shift Engineer to join our team on a critical site, ensuring the continuous operation of essential mechanical infrastructure. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in high-pressure, mission-critical environments such as data centres or healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain mechanical systems including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and associated plant
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
* Respond to alarms, faults, and emergencies in a timely and effective manner
* Monitor plant performance and ensure maximum uptime across all systems
* Work closely with electrical engineers and site teams during shifts
* Follow strict health & safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
* Accurately log all activities using CMMS and site reporting systems
