Your New Role As the Financial Trading Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely reporting across profitability, margin and supplier income. Working closely with both Finance and Trading teams, you will be responsible for producing weekly, periodic and quarterly reporting, ensuring senior stakeholders have the insight required for effective performance will support the preparation of management accounts, assist with forecasting and budgeting cycles, and be a central part of the quarter-end hard close. A key aspect of your role will involve business partnering with Trading Managers, providing analysis, commentary, and guidance on variances, supplier negotiations and ad-hoc commercial queries. You will also respond to internal information requests and produce additional analysis as required by leadership. 3. What You'll Need to Succeed Part-qualified accountant or actively working toward a professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent). Strong experience in margin reporting, variance analysis and working with large data sets. Proven ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise across multiple departments. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload independently. Experience with Oracle-based systems is advantageous, as is experience within a retail, wholesale or commercial trading environment. 4.
