Monday to Friday | Ongoing Work | 50 Hours Guaranteed
The Best Connection are recruiting an additional Class 1 Driver on behalf of a client based in Skelmersdale, due to increased workload and the introduction of a new unit.
The Role
* Shunting and delivering trailers between:
o The main Skelmersdale site
o Liverpool Dock
o Heysham Dock
o Various customer sites
* No handball - strictly trailer moves and pulling curtains.
* Long-term, ongoing work with a stable, reliable schedule.
Hours
* Monday- Friday
* Typical start time - 8:00am
* Guaranteed 50 hours per week
Pay Rates
All rates of pay are PAYE. You will accrue holidays into a separate pot so that you get paid when you need time off!
* £16.00 per hour PAYE
Requirements
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
* Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
* Professional, reliable and safety‑focused driver
What You Get

* A guaranteed minimum 10 hours pay per day
* No physical loading/ unloading
