Are you passionate about early childhood development and the great outdoors?
We’re looking for a Nursery Manager to lead our unique, farm-based nursery.
About Us
We are a progressive early years setting based on a farm, offering children the opportunity to learn through play, exploration, and real-life experiences with animals, plants, and the natural world.
Your Role
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, leading a passionate team and ensuring high standards of care, education, and safety. You’ll help nurture a love of nature in young children while supporting their early years learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of nursery operations, including staffing, safeguarding, and curriculum planning
* Lead, inspire, and support the team to deliver outstanding childcare
* Ensure compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and health & safety regulations
* Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider farm/nursery community
* Promote outdoor and farm-based learning experiences as part of daily routines
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
* Proven experience in a nursery management or senior role
* A strong passion for outdoor learning and nature-based education
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* Knowledge of EYFS and current childcare legislation
* A can-do attitude and love for muddy boots and farm life!
