Procurement Officer (Hybrid) needed in Gloucester, £235.22 per day PAYE - Reference: 5276063
You will ideally have knowledge of public sector procurement policies, procedures and systems as well as relevant legislation and regulations. Highly organised and analytical, with good IT skills, you’ll be ready to meet demanding targets, timescales and budgets. You also have good communication and negotiating skills.
Responsibilities
* Apply knowledge of public sector procurement policies, procedures, systems, and relevant legislation and regulations in day-to-day work.
* Work to demanding targets, timescales and budgets with strong organisational and analytical abilities.
* Utilise IT skills to support procurement processes and data management.
* Communicate effectively and negotiate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Knowledge of public sector procurement policies, procedures and systems; knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
* Highly organised and analytical with strong IT skills.
* Good communication and negotiating skills.
Contract and location
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis, based in Gloucester. The role is described as hybrid.
