Early Years Teacher
12 Months Fixed Term (Immediate Start)
Academics are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school on a fixed-term contract with the potential for extension. This role will involve teaching across Nursery and Year 1, providing continuity and a nurturing learning environment for children aged 3-6.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reflective practitioner who is passionate about supporting young children to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally within a nurturing and inclusive school environment.
The Role
As an Early Years Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across Nursery and Year 1
* Support children to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning
* Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND
* Use relational approaches to support behaviour and wellbeing
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil progressAbout You
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher status (EYTS)
* Have experience teaching within Early Years
* Demonstrate strong classroom practice and high expectations for pupil achievement
* Have experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs
* Be a reflective practitioner with excellent communication skills
* Be caring, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
