We are looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll be part of a friendly team dedicated to helping our customers. Your responsibilities include leading the store team—coaching and supervising Customer Team Members, deputising for the Store Manager, delivering excellent customer service, and performing store tasks like re-stocking shelves and cleaning spillages.

What you’ll do
1. Provide friendly, welcoming, helpful, and thoughtful service, managing store operations and handling challenging situations.
2. Develop your team’s capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone’s voice is valued.
3. Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational.
4. Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to enhance the shopping experience.
5. Support your store manager by deputising when needed and assisting with HR processes.
6. Lead in introducing new products and services, working with your team to implement changes and gather feedback.
7. Build relationships and engage with your local community, supporting the delivery of the local Co-op community plan.
