The home is registered to provide care to 81 residents with a variety of needs, including residential, nursing, and dementia care. We are seeking a kind, caring, and organized Receptionist to join our team on a 0-hour BANK contract, covering annual leave and sickness. The role involves providing an efficient reception service, ensuring residents, guests, and visitors are treated courteously and efficiently. The hourly rate is £12.35, with shift times from 0900 to 1700.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Providing a welcoming reception service to visitors, maintaining security and signing in records.
2. Dealing with inquiries from prospective residents and their families, and showing them around the home.
3. Answering telephone calls, handling inquiries, and transferring calls appropriately.
4. Supporting the Home Administrator as needed.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. An approachable and welcoming attitude.
2. Good organization skills and maintaining a tidy environment.
3. Ability to build positive relationships with residents, relatives, staff, and visitors.
4. Effective time management skills.
5. Ability to work as part of a team to ensure smooth administration and reception operations.
