Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (with flexibility to support 7-day service operations)
About us
HealthHarmonie, part of the Medinet group, is a leading private healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients across the UK. We specialise in partnering with the NHS and ICBs to provide innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes and streamline healthcare delivery.
Overview
We're looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Patient Liaison Officer (PLO) to join our growing ADHD Assessment Service team. You'll play a vital role in delivering a smooth, supportive experience for patients from referral through to assessment, treatment, and aftercare.
As the first point of contact for patients, clinicians, GPs, and internal teams, you'll ensure the highest standard of communication and coordination - helping people feel informed, reassured, and well cared for throughout their journey with us.
About the Role
As a Patient Liaison Officer, you will:
* Manage referrals via e-RS and email, ensuring complete and accurate patient onboarding
* Coordinate triage calls, assessments, and follow-up appointments
* Provide technical and administrative support during virtual consultations
* Process and distribute clinical reports using EMIS and Hero Health
* Support titration scheduling, liaise with GPs, and manage aftercare communications
* Be the first point of contact for patient queries, offering clear, compassionate guidance
The service operates 7 days a week, 12 hours per day, so flexibility to work shift patterns is essential.
What You'll Need
* Experience in a healthcare, patient-facing, or service-led admin role
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
* Comfortable working with sensitive patient data and IT systems
* Empathetic, professional approach to patient interaction
* Mental health or ADHD service experience
* Familiarity with EMIS Web, Hero Health, or similar systems
* Understanding of healthcare data protection (e.g., GDPR, Caldicott Principles)
* Experience with virtual consultations or AI transcription tools
