Summary
The IT Support Manager will act as the primary internal point of contact for all IT matters, liaising with external IT service providers to ensure efficient delivery of IT support and system maintenance across the organisation.

They will manage IT onboarding and offboarding, ensuring new starters and leavers have the appropriate IT equipment, access, and support and manage compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as the main internal contact for all IT-related issues, coordinating with the external IT support providers to ensure timely resolution.

* Manage IT onboarding for new starters, including setup of hardware, software, accounts, and access permissions.

* Manage IT offboarding for leavers, ensuring accounts are deactivated, data is secured, and equipment is returned.

* Work closely with colleagues with wide ranging levels of IT experience.

* Oversee IT systems including networks, servers, cloud services, and software applications, ensuring they run efficiently.

* Coordinate all kit ordering, inventory management, and allocation of IT equipment.

* Manage IT service requests, incidents, and projects with the external IT partner, monitoring progress and ensuring SLAs are met.

* Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation.

* Ensure IT security, data protection, and compliance requirements are upheld.

* Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, systems, and service delivery.

* Provide guidance and training to staff on IT systems where needed.

* Liaise with vendors to manage software licensing, procurement, and maintenance contracts.

* Report IT performance, issues, and projects to senior management.

* Review all policies around data and ensure compliance across the group.

* Review how AI can improve services offering and train staff on new systems.

Experience required:

* Strong technical knowledge of networks, systems, cloud services, and desktop applications.

* Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience is desirable.

* Experience liaising with external IT partners or managed service providers.

* Experience managing IT onboarding and offboarding processes.

* Experience with Microsoft 365 suite administration, including the cloud.

* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

* Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical staff.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently.
