Your new company is a highly successful, dynamic, and well-respected organization known for its reputation and high levels of customer service.
Your new role: Working within the central finance team, you will be exposed to a variety of duties that will complement your professional CIMA/ACCA studies as you look to qualify in the future. You will initially begin in the commercial accounting team, reviewing accounts payable and receivable transactions, as well as reconciliations and query resolution. As you progress, you will assist in monthly management account closures, including posting journals to the general ledger, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss analysis, and reporting. This is a developmental role designed to challenge you and help develop your skill set over time.
What you'll need to succeed: You will have recently graduated, ideally with a relevant degree, and possess a strong desire to start your accountancy career, with an interest in professional qualifications. Practical accounting experience from a placement or recent position is advantageous. Proficiency in Excel, excellent attention to detail, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach are essential. Hard-working and diligent individuals with excellent numerical skills who can work to tight deadlines during month-end and year-end processes are preferred.
What you'll get in return: This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful company where support and training will be provided by key mentors. Benefits include a rising holiday allowance, study support, free parking, and more.
