The Sr Sales Exec – Data Protection Solutions Specialist is a Sales Specialist responsible for partnering with Digital Security Solution Sellers to drive pipeline development, new business growth, and achieve bookings targets for Entrust’s Data Protection Solutions (with a specific focus on HSMs) within the EMEA region. This is an overlay sales specialist position that partners across Entrust’s Enterprise Named Account sales team and Commercial Accounts sales team to drive new logo opportunities and growth in existing accounts, focusing on Data Protection Solutions. The role requires significant collaboration with matrixed team members including the Account Management Sales Team, Sales Development, and Pre-Sales Technical teams.
The Sales Specialist will be accountable for the following responsibilities and other duties as assigned:
Responsibilities:
1. Act as the region's selling expert for Data Protection Solutions, providing competitive knowledge and solution industry expertise for Entrust solutions.
2. Prospect daily, leveraging referrals and collaborating with other Sales Executives for cross-sale opportunities.
3. Deliver value proposition messages through various mediums to prospects within the assigned region.
4. Listen to and interpret customer requirements, proposing technical solutions that directly address customer needs.
5. Partner with Technical Sales to provide product presentations and demos to prospects and customers.
6. Manage and overcome prospect objections successfully.
7. Serve as a mentor and resource within the Sales team on Data Protection Solutions, market trends, and use-cases, supporting the organization with sales expertise.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Experience in selling Data Protection Solutions/HSMs is essential. (Candidates without this experience will not be considered)
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience selling products/services in the IT/Data Security market space.
3. A proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement.
4. Experience prospecting, building a pipeline, and presenting solutions to C-level and decision-makers.
5. Successful engagement with customer primes.
6. Technical aptitude to quickly learn Entrust’s products, sales strategies, pricing, delivery, and installation processes.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
8. Reside within and have the right to work in the territory/region, with the ability to travel up to 50% within the territory/region.
