Business Development Director – Aggregator Accounts

Overview
Due to our continued growth, we are hiring a Business Development Director to lead the growth in our aggregator business. You will be responsible for building strategic relationships, shaping and executing go‑to‑market strategy, and driving commercial success across our white‑label propositions and beyond.
What You’ll Do
* Develop and execute the overarching commercial strategy for the Aggregator market.
* Build and nurture strategic relationships with key clients and partners.
* Identify and secure new strategic commercial opportunities for Defaqto.
* Refine and lead the go‑to‑market (GTM) strategy for our white‑label panel propositions.
* Collaborate across Defaqto and acquired businesses to align and scale commercial efforts.
* Represent Defaqto externally as a thought leader and trusted partner in the market.
Qualifications
* A degree‑level qualification or equivalent experience.
* Deep knowledge of the UK retail financial services landscape.
* Extensive experience in strategic enterprise account growth.
* Significant experience leading sales teams and/or managing commercial functions.
* A strong commercial, strategic, and entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record in finding and developing long‑term relationships based upon trust.
* Proven use of strategic selling methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC or similar).
Work Location
This is a remote role but you will need to travel to clients and prospects, network at events, and attend on‑site workshops with the wider sales team from time to time.
