Become a BR-DGE Builder About the role: As a QA Lead at BR-DGE, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the quality assurance strategy across BR-DGE 's payment orchestration platform. You will lead a team of QA engineers, collaborate closely with Engineering Managers, Product Owners and Engineers to ensure robust testing processes are integrated throughout the SDLC. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader with experience in driving quality across software engineering & product delivery and a deep understanding of both manual and automated testing strategies. What you’ll be doing: Ownership of QA function that is accountable for ensuring the quality of the BR-DGE product Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to deliver best practices in quality engineering across the engineering function Define and implement QA strategy to drive delivery of test plans, and test cases for new and existing products. Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing. Provide external UAT testing functionality for BR-DGE customers to validate integrations Collaborate with Product, Development, Platform and Compliance teams to ensure quality is embedded early and throughout the development cycle Establish and monitor observability tooling to track quality trends and drive continuous improvement. Implement and maintain automated functional and non functional testing frameworks for API, UI, and backend services. Working with Platform and Engineering to ensure quality validation is integrated with CI/CD pipelines Implement and manage frameworks for managing test data. Establish exploratory testing patterns Implement testing strategies that align with ensuring BR-DGE maintains compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001). Support and contribute to incident reviews to identify learnings and improvement from issues in the QA space What we’re looking for: Exceptional understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes and experience in implementing these in a fast pace of delivery environment Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Gatling, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JUnit, Cucumber etc.). Hands-on experience with performance testing tooling for both API and UI integrations Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions). Experience with API testing and tools like Swagger and Postman Familiarity with containerisation and microservices architecture. Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot and Javascript technologies What would be great to have: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of compliance standards relevant to payments industry (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC2 ).
