Tandridge District Council is seeking a strategic and collaborative Director of Resources to lead our financial strategy and fulfill the statutory duties of the Section 151 Officer. You'll play a central role in ensuring the Council remains financially sustainable, innovative in its service delivery, and responsive to the needs of residents and businesses. The role can be tailored to include a broader portfolio of services—such as Procurement, Revenues and Benefits, Asset Management, HR, Digital, and Customer Services—depending on your experience and interests.
You will be part of the Management Team, which works together to support the Chief Executive to lead, support, and deliver:
* The transformation of the Council, underpinned by the Corporate Plan.
* Service planning and delivery.
* Organisational development—culture, values, and behaviours.
* Local government reorganisation.

We're looking for a qualified finance professional (CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) with significant senior leadership experience, ideally within local government. You'll bring:
