About the role
Join LABC Academy for a two-year, fully funded programme that will train you to become a Registered Building Inspector and give you the chance to progress to a Chartered Surveyor or Building Engineer.
Responsibilities
* Assist in delivering a range of surveying activities relating to building control, including working with designers and contractors to achieve compliance with building regulations.
* Conduct inspections of building work.
* Assist in technical investigations.
* Respond to dangerous structure call‑outs.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum 3 A-levels at grade C or higher (or equivalent – 80 UCAS points).
* Demonstrable experience in a relevant or related discipline, e.g. construction, ex‑military, fire services.
* Qualification at level 3 S/NVQ in construction or related discipline.
* Full driving licence or working towards one by the start date.
Locations
Luton Borough Council (LU1 2BQ) – candidates will be based in a local authority close to you.
