On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a Planning & Delivery Lead for a 12 Month contract based in Derby (hybrid). Purpose of the role: As a Planning and delivery leader for you'll play an integral role in the preparation, planning, issuing and controlling production schedules along with coordinating material requirements, to ensure a controlled flow for approved materials is timed to meet production. What you'll do: Scheduling equipment and personnel. Confirming material supply and demands. Preparing work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirement. Coordinating interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc. Scheduling and expediting the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders. Willing to traveling and visit suppliers, both domestically and internationally. The skills you'll need: Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing, or manufacturing operations. Proficient in Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) or equivalent enterprise resource planning systems. Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver to agreed timelines. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and functions to achieve business objectives.
