Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - Highways & Civil Engineering
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in earthworks, drainage, and road construction to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging, high-profile projects across the highways and civil engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage commercial aspects of civil engineering projects, with a focus on highways, earthworks, and drainage.
* Prepare, submit, and negotiate valuations and variations.
* Ensure accurate cost forecasting, budget control, and risk management.
* Support site teams with contractual and commercial guidance.
* Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a QS or Senior QS within the civil engineering sector.
* Strong working knowledge of earthworks, drainage, highways, and road construction.
* Excellent contractual knowledge (NEC/JCT).
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
