Founded in 2019 Carbon3 are renewable energy, electric vehicle charging and ESG specialists to the new build construction and retrofit sectors. We offer a full concept to delivery service ensuring planning and sustainability targets are achieved.
Our projects consist of large multi plot housing schemes, retrofit commercial, mass retrofit energy efficiency upgrades and high-end refurbishments. The Carbon3 retrofit ESG offering provides carbon reduction solutions with the additional benefit of sustainable finance solutions to demonstrate tangible ESG results.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development / sales Manager to lead our Renewables/ EV charging Operations & Maintenance (O&M) sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a background in Housing Associations (HA), Local Authorities (LA), or Facilities Management, with experience in the energy/ renewables or EV charging ans also have an existing network of warm contacts in housing, construction, or facilities management.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the Renewables O&M sector.
* Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify, engage, and manage relationships with key clients, including HAs, LAs, and facilities management organisations.
* Business Development: Expand market presence through lead generation, networking, and strategic partnerships.
* Proposal & Bid Management: Prepare and manage sales proposals, bids, and tenders, ensuring competitive and compliant submissions.
* Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Track sales performance, produce forecasts, and report on key sales metrics.
* Market Insights: Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
* Proven sales experience within HA, LA, Facilities Management, or related sectors.
* Previous experience in renewable energy
* Previous experience Strong understanding of sales processes, client relationship management, and business development.
* Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including technical, operational, and project management.
* Familiarity with energy, renewables, sustainability, or energy efficiency sectors (desirable).
Qualifications:
* Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field or relevant experience.
* Professional certification in sales or business development is advantageous but not essential.
